Alida has been a dream weaver for brides over the last 12 years, providing quality garments with beauty and meaning on both a custom and design basis. Alida was born in Holland and raised in Canada; she comes from a long line of designers, tailors and dress-makers.

Over the years she has honed her skills through self example, courses and experience with instructing and designing for her three daughters. She uses a classical method of design and tailoring and comes up with astonishing works of art suitable for the modern day bride.

Alida has created so many ecstatic brides with fabulous success stories over the years. Today Alida has created a credible and well respected name for herself in the bridal industry as a result of her visionary sense of style, dedication to quality, hard-work, and attention to detail.

At only 24, Beverly brings a youthful flair to Alida’s Gowns. Her design trademark is her ability to blend modern style with traditionally feminine ideas. She brings a refreshing edge to Alida’s Gowns where she assists with both the design and construction of all gowns.
